Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 June 2026

Daypages is built to be calm and private. The short version: we collect nothing about you. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party trackers. Everything you create stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Daypages has no servers of its own and no sign-up. We do not see your events, notes, moods, photos, drawings or settings, and we never receive any usage or analytics data.

What stays on your device

Your calendar events, journal notes, moods, photos and handwriting, and your preferences, are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to us.

Optional iCloud sync

If you turn on sync, Daypages uses Apple’s CloudKit to keep your data in your own private iCloud, so it appears across your Apple devices. This stays inside your Apple account; Daypages has no access to it and it is never sent to any server of ours.

Your device calendar

With your permission, Daypages can show and add events to the calendars already on your phone (for example iCloud or Google). This happens on your device through the operating system. We do not receive these events. You can revoke calendar access at any time in your device settings.

Photos

Photos you add to a day are stored on your device (and in your private iCloud if sync is on). They are never uploaded to us.

Notifications

Reminders and the optional morning glance are scheduled locally on your device. No notification is sent through a server of ours.

Purchases

The one-time “Pro” unlock is processed by the App Store or Google Play, depending on your device. To validate the purchase and keep it working across your devices, we use RevenueCat. RevenueCat processes a randomly generated app identifier and your store purchase receipt to confirm the unlock. This is not linked to your name or email and is used only to manage your purchase.

Children

Daypages is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with an updated date.

Terms of Use

Daypages is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. The app is free to try for 3 days; continued use requires a one-time purchase made through the App Store or Google Play; on Apple devices it is shared with your Family Sharing group. Purchases are subject to the store’s standard terms. To the extent permitted by law, Daypages is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
